Check out this gorgeous graphic from C40.org, a group focused on tackling climate change at the local level, where most folks are still lucky enough to be able to call up their council person, gather a bunch of rabble-rousers to get loud about the things they care about, and visualize what a better block would look like together.
It’s beautiful to look at, but don’t just get lost in the graphic glory (though please do that, too. It’s really lovely). The idea they are conveying is powerful, because it is hopeful. Imagine dozens, then hundreds, then thousands of groups trying to create a world with clean air and water, and enough energy to meet our needs…Change starts locally.
